Hi, my name is Averil Wilbraham.

The children know me as Miss Avie.

I have worked here since 2010.

I work with the deaf children as a communicator in our school, along with Kath Shepherd.

In the classroom, I sign the teacher’s instructions – which helps the children understand the daily schedule and lessons.

Every Friday we sign the assembly – its so rewarding watching all the children sign our national anthem.

We also run a sign club on a Wednesday.

I really enjoy working at Ebbett Park School with fabulous staff and amazing children. Our school has such a family orientated environment.
