Teacher – Reading Recovery

My name is Anna Bush. I have lived in the sunny Hawkes Bay all my life and I currently live in Havelock North with my two teenage sons and husband. I enjoy spending time with my family and this is what I love about Ebbett Park as it has a great family feel due to its size. I have been teaching for 20 plus years and during this time I have taught all different year levels. I have a passion for literacy and have been implementing the Reading Recovery programme at Ebbett Park primary. I am very passionate about this programme and I love the huge difference that it makes to children’s literacy levels and confidence. I also enjoy organising fun literacy-focused school-wide activities that bring us all together as a community.
